Finger sucking

After a long day of playing, Ali decided to take a little rest on the floor. Her newest thing is sucking her fingers. I would prefer that she didn't, but it is a great self soothing tool for her so I am not going to discourage it at this point. : )

First ride in the swing

Ali took her first ride in the swing at Mom-mom and Pa-pa Bratcher's house. She loved it and stayed in there for a long time!

Baptism

Ali was baptized Sunday. All of her grandparents and her great grandma came to share in this special occasion. Uncle Jared came over afterwards to have breakfast with us too.

Pastor Terry holding Ali. She was perfect for her baptism. When we walked up to the front Terry was talking and she just started smiling at him. She of course thought he was talking to her. : ) She puckered her lip just a little when they put the water on her, but she never cried.

Bumbo

I got the bumbo out and put Ali in it for the first time. She loves it as you can see by the big smile on her face! This used to be Gavin's and he doesn't like Ali sitting in it. He has not cared about anything else that used to be his, but for some reason he really had an attachment to his bumbo. I will post a picture of him sitting in it on his blog. It is hilarious because he is so big.

Early Easter

G-ma and G-pa Deverman sent the easter bunny our way a few days early. He brought Ali a new toy. She really likes it when Gavin spins it for her and it makes noise.

Another trip to the beach

And once again she slept almost the entire time we were at the beach. It is quite relaxing with the waves crashing against the beach. : ) Since it was so windy it was actually a little chilly in the shade.
